Richard B. Cheney is famous American public servant, businessman and politician. Cheney, a well-known face on the scene of Washington politics, has served under four presidents from the US. George W. Bush is the fourth. Bush chose Cheney as his vice presidential candidate in July 2000, citing Cheney's insight judgment and experience. Dick Cheney was a chief of staff for presidents. He was a member of the United States Congress as Secretary of Defense, and served the nation in various capacities. It's clear that he is a true gentleman, who has the respect of all Republicans as well as Democrats. Cheney believes his role as a member of his position in the Bush administration is to act as a candid but discrete advisor. Cheney is adamant in accepting his role as Republican vice president that he would like to work with a presidential candidate who will be a cross-partisan collaborator and work in a manner of respect and in a common cause. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th 1941 Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. Cheney relocated to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. He was raised by his father who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
