Her birth date was the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her parents are Mexican as well as American. Her entire life has been a sports enthusiast. Gerina took up golf when she turned 15 years old. Gerina has graduated from Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina was the winner of in the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player and competed at the national level. At the age of 2003, she enrolled at the University of Texas. Through the latter seasons of her professional career, she was the winner of every event where she played. In her undergraduate years she won the titles that included Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
