Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams was raised in Italy as her father worked with the U.S. military and she grew up in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. In the early 1990s, Adams began performing and dancing professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she joined a regional theatre located in Minnesota in which she was featured in a documentary mock-up on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). In Los Angeles, she pursued an acting career after her film debut in which she portrayed a dizzy but friendly contestant. The husband of her Tony Curtis was her partner from June 1950 to September 1992. They had two kids, Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh began her filming career following the signing of an MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. Her work was noticed through actress Norma Shearer. Her role as Norma was featured in various popular films throughout time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho which was released in 1960 as well as Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
